Why was the corruption case of Tom Robson in To Kill a Mockingbird

I need a reason why the judge was corrupt, why what the jury was corrupt and another factor that makes it unfair.
The judge has not been damaged, he chose Atticus defend Tom because he was the best and most fair. So, in reality, I wanted Tom to win, but the jury said all fukin "guilty" because this book is set at the time still thought blacks cookies as sub-human.
