Tama Swingstar

Unfamiliar drumkit…?
I’m looking at buying a new drum kit, and found a used 7 piece Tama Swingstar. Included is 6 zildjian cymbals, 2 sabian cymbals, and a gibraltar rack. Metallic silver finish (It looks like sheet metal, cool IMHO). I am unfamiliar with Tama, and wanted to get some input.
Price is 1200 dollars.
I know the big names use it, but swingstar is their bottom line kit. I understand Tama has phenomonal products, but is their best of the worst worth 1200 bucks?
And plus, you forgot John Dolmayan.
And Lombardo got snatched up by ddrum, like Vinnie Paul did. I’m gonna miss that bass fill in Angel of Death, ddrum shells won’t sound as good IMHO.
Tama makes some of the best Bass Drums, Toms, and Floor Toms. There pretty reliable. Plenty of heavy metal drummers use Tama drums so you know they can take a beating and still sound great.
Some big name drummers are Dave Lombardo, Lars Ulrich, Mike Portnoy, and Joey Jordison.
Tama is a brand you can trust.
