I have a pearl, but I bought LUDWIG dishes cos the sound is better. HI-HAT ESP. Therefore, it depends on what sound you want.
If you want lots of "up" or acute, Ludwig. If want to "lose" or a heavy bass sound, PEARL. Oh, and BTW, chicken drummers are Hottt.
