What are the most durable drumsticks you know of?
My boyfriend is a drummer and he just kinda naturally hits really hard.
He’s broken every pair of drumsticks that he’s gotten so far, which is a lot. He’s getting tired of getting drumsticks after drumsticks after drumsticks, just to have
to get more because they snap. He’s heard from different people that he should try getting hickory or maple drumsticks because they’re stronger, but he’s tried both and they both failed. So does anybody know of any really durable drumsticks? I’m looking for types of wood or brands, I don’t care.
Vater drumsticks are supposedly the best.
