How to remove dye from a washing machine drum?
I recently used a Dylon in wash dye however having followed the manufacturers guidelines i’m struggling to remove the dye residue from
the drum.
I have put the machine through several cycles including several boil washes.
I have scrubbed the drum, seal and all elements I can reach however I still have small flecks on dye collecting in the seal. Any ideas what else I can do?
I am a firm believer in good old fashioned washing soda. It cleans everything. Buy a bag from your local supermarket for around 65p and tip the lot into machine drum and set it on it’s hottest wash.
This should get rid of the residue dye, if not, contact Dylon.
