Where do I place my ride and crash cymbals

I have a 5-piece drum set, a bass, snare, hi-hat, 2 mounted toms, 1 floor tom, a crash cymbal, and a ride cymbal. I know where to put all of the drums, but I’ m not sure where to place the cy
mbals.
You put them where you feel comfortable with
them. But in general, the ride would go over the floor tom, or above the mounted-tom closest to the floor tom. The crash would also generally go above the hi-mounted tom, in between the hats and the tom. Anywhere in these general areas is good, just move them around so they are in proper position for your setup/ and reach, and which is most comfortable.
