Ride Cymbal Question!!! (once again)?
i have been looking for rides for a long time, i see that they are expensive so i want to make a really good decision.
two rides it is a toss up between is a “Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Ride” or a “Zildjian A Custom Ping Ride”
so tell me which one is better AND WHY!!
or if there is a better ride that you have in mind, tell me, AND WHY!!
the music i like to play is death metal. tech death, technical metal, metal, and i also like to play a little softer rock, or maybe some jazz.
Given the styles of music you’ve listed, I would probably go with the Hybrid Ride. My suggestion would be to go to your local shop and play them both then make your own decision. I’ve always played Sabian and am quite partial to the AA Raw ride. It gives me a good wash with great stick attack and definition.
I use it to play mostly speed-core and thrash based music, but it’s rather versital and can be used for jazz, pop, and lighter music.
