Ride for fallen firefighter roars out of Homewood
Twenty-eight firefighters, police officers and friends of the late Homewood firefighter Brian Carey set out Thursday on a two-day ‘Ride for Boo’ to the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial ceremony in Colorado Springs,
Colo. The riders will join members of the Carey family as the fallen firefighter’s name is added to the memorial Saturday.
